Dutch equestrian journalist Claartje van Andel created a booklet as an hommage to the 25th World Cup Final Dressage called ‘A tribute to the FEI World Cup Dressage 1986-2010’. It is a concise history of the World Cup Finals.
Claartje found partners Ricoh and Arnd Bronkhorst Photography ready to help with producing the booklet and supplying the necessary images at short notice. The book tells the story of the history of 25 years of World Cup Finals, interviews with the 12 winning riders of the past 24 years as well as a treasure cove of statistical information from Claartjes specialized web site www.dressagedirect.com. "So much has happened in those 25 years! The sport has developed tremendously over time" says Claartje van Andel, "you can't help but smile when you look back at the beginning! I am grateful to Ricoh and Arnd Bronkhorst for helping in the realization of this project together." The square book of 62 pages was presented at a private dinner at Indoor Brabant, host of the 25th final, to Joep Bartels who started the idea of the Kür to Music, to Indoor Brabant president Gerrit-Jan Swinkels and to sports director and president of the Dressage Task Force Frank Kemperman. Riders, Ricoh guests and the press were also given the book. The book was produced as a one-off exclusive and limited production run, but it is available at minimal costs at www.mediaboek.nl. |
